Early Life and Background

Timothy Chukwudi Godfrey, popularly known as Tim Godfrey, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, music director, producer, and the founder of Rox Nation and the award-winning gospel music group Xtreme Crew. He was born on August 26, 1979, in Kaduna State, Nigeria, though he hails from Abia State.

Growing up in a Christian home, Tim developed a strong love for music and performance from a young age.

Music Career

Tim Godfrey began his professional gospel music career in 2003 when he founded the group Xtreme Crew, known for their energetic performances and creative blend of African rhythms, hip-hop, and contemporary gospel.

He rose to prominence in 2008 with the release of Agidigba and later cemented his place in African gospel music with several hit singles and albums.

One of his biggest breakthroughs came in 2018 when he collaborated with American gospel singer Travis Greene on the global hit song Nara, which has amassed millions of views and become a worldwide worship anthem.
