Early Life & Background

Born on May 28, 1983, he is Zimbabwean, the fourth child in a family of seven.

He grew up in a Christian home where his parents instilled strong values and faith.

From a young age, he showed musical interest; together with his brothers Akim, Misheck, and Amos, he formed the group Mahendere Brothers. Their first album came out in 1994 when he was still a child.

Music & Ministry Career

He is a pastor at United Family International Church under Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa.

Music has been a core part of his life from childhood: singing, learning instruments, producing. He learned to play acoustic guitar, keyboard, drums, etc.

Some of his major works include the album series Getting Personal with God.

Getting Personal with God II featured tracks like “Mumoyo.”

He also released Getting Personal with God III, with songs like “Salt of the Earth.”

More recent work includes Getting Personal with God IV, which has “Tangai Neni,” “Zvaringana (It Is Well),” “Nyasha Dzaishe,” and “Kudza Jehovah.”

One of his breakthrough songs is a rearranged version of “Makanaka Jesu” with the UFI Choir, which gained widespread popularity.

Other Ventures & Vision

He’s not just a musician but also acts as music director, pastor, band manager, and producer.

He has expressed desires to build infrastructure for gospel music, including establishing a world-class studio and a gospel radio station as part of his “Minister at 40” campaign.

Personal Life

He married Vimbai Nyatsambo in December 2011. Vimbai works with him in managing musical work.

They have three children.

Recognition & Awards

He has won multiple gospel music awards in Zimbabwe.

Songs like "Mumoyo", "Salt of the Earth", etc., have enjoyed radio success and widespread acclaim.
