Peterson Okopi is a Nigerian gospel artist, songwriter, and music minister known for his powerful worship songs. Born on August 8, 1997, in Lagos, Nigeria, he hails from Otukpo Local Government Area in Benue State. Raised in a family of six, Okopi was introduced to music at a young age, beginning to sing at the age of 7. He grew up in the Nigerian Air Force Base in Ikeja, Lagos, where his father served as an air force personnel.

Okopi received his primary and secondary education at the Nigerian Air Force Primary and Secondary School in Lagos. He later pursued a diploma in English Language at Yaba College of Technology in Lagos and is currently studying Mass Communication at the National Open University of Nigeria.

His music career began in his early teens, and he has since become a prominent figure in the Nigerian gospel music scene. He is signed to TWC Records and has ministered at major events such as MMPRAISE, Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), and Mass Concert. He has shared stages with renowned gospel artists like Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, and Victoria Orenze.

Okopi's discography includes several singles and his debut album, ÒSÚBÀ, released in May 2021. The album features songs that have resonated with audiences, showcasing his unique style and deep worship experience.

He has received recognition for his contributions to gospel music, including the CLIMA Africa Award for Discovery Artiste of the Year in 2021. Okopi continues to inspire and lead others in worship through his music ministry.
