David Nkennor

Background & Early Life

He started in music as a teenager, in 1999, when he joined a 6-man a cappella group called Baby’s Heart.

The group ministered in university campuses, concerts, and churches in Nigeria.

Education & Other Roles

He is trained as an educationist, having studied Mathematics at the University of Lagos.

Besides performing, he writes, teaches, and speaks at Christian events and music ministries.

Music Ministry & Career

He founded a worship ministry called WORSHIP IS W.I.D.E, which stands for “What I Do Every time.”

His albums Worship Is W.I.D.E 1 (2008) and Worship Is W.I.D.E 2 (2014) were live recordings.

Some of his well-known songs include “You Are Good”, “Without Restriction”, “Blessings & Honour”, “Oh My God”, “That Generation”, “Like You Do Me”.

He also published a book titled The Music Code of God, which deals with music ministry principles, its purpose, and guidelines.

Ministry & Vision

Through Worship Is W.I.D.E, he leads worship gatherings, concerts, seminars, training sessions for worship leaders, and other ministerial outreaches.

He also hosts a weekly online worship experience called The Morning Dew.

David is the Visioneer of WORSHIP CULTURE, an organization tied to his worship ministry.

Personal Life

Married to Ugochi.

They have two children.
