Tasha Cobbs Leonard – Biography

Early Life & Background

Tasha Cobbs Leonard was born on July 7, 1981, in Jesup, Georgia, USA. She grew up in a Christian home, with her father serving as a pastor. This strong church upbringing nurtured her passion for worship and ministry from a young age.

Music Career

Tasha released her independent album Smile in 2010, but she rose to international fame with her 2013 project Grace, which featured the hit single Break Every Chain.

She has since released several successful albums, including One Place: Live (2015), Heart. Passion. Pursuit. (2017), Royalty: Live at the Ryman (2020), and Hymns (2022).

She is signed to Motown Gospel and is recognized as one of the most powerful worship leaders of her generation.
