Jimmy Levy is a singer and songwriter who transitioned into gospel music after a previous involvement with secular music and darker/blended spiritual themes.

He originally auditioned for American Idol around 2020, which gave him exposure.

Personal Background & Journey

He grew up in South Florida.

From a young age, he was involved in artistic activities: singing, theatre, choir, writing, painting.

He faced difficulties like bullying, mental health challenges, substance use, and other pressures from the entertainment industry.

At a point he got involved with occult/witchcraft practices, partly due to peer influence and the culture he found himself in.

This period led to depression, voice problems, and a feeling of spiritual attack.

Conversion / Transformation

He eventually encountered Christian faith through a friend who persistently shared about Jesus.

On July 4, 2021, he was baptized and committed his life more fully to Christ.

Since then, his music has moved toward worship, testimony, and themes of redemption.

Music & Work

Some of his songs/an anthems include Amen, This is War, Welcome to the Revolution.

He is working on a worship-focused album.

His music addresses spiritual warfare, identity, healing, and revival.
