Grew up in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal
Her father is a bishop in the Potters House Family Church
Started her music journey singing as a backup vocalist for Ntokozo Mbambo

In 2012 she got a chance to lead a song with Joyous Celebration when Khaya Mthethwa was unavailable; she later joined Joyous Celebration formally
Went solo with her debut album Your Kingdom On Earth in 2019, marking a shift from choir member to solo worship artist
