brother lyrics by Rob Nor, K Diamond

Verse 1

A date with death, he often flirt! They kicked his door on 41st!

The war on Storer extorting hurt, extorting percs, but snore in church

Don't sleep on grace, but stay alert! He call me on my cellular!

He said, They hit me where it hurt when they put bleep in the dirt

Curtail all these demons! Fast & you pray, they get squeamish!

Dying by the K & start grieving, living by faith and start seeing—

The way of Christ ignites a plight of future bright, despite—

The bite of darkness, heartless felons, fell into, the snakes' rebellion

This light gon' show em that it's dark and hell is hot!

This story ends with death and rot

We flip the plot and love our neighbors on the block

I got this danger in my heart! I see the manger, it's on Clark!

It's down the way, on 28th, it's on St. Clair, it's up the way!

He's the incarnate word! Antithesis of pride!

Phone on do not disturb! I stare into his eyes!

Burdens become a blur! I got this peace inside!

I know one thing for sure! In Christ, I am alive!

Verse 2

Life is in the sky

When I could've died

Jesus gave me life

(Cross!)

He was on that tree

That boy he be free

That boy he got keys

Verse 3

AAAAAAAHHHHHHH, I'm grieved!

Brodie 17, kept the blower in his jeans!

All he see is red! Yeah, all he see is red!

Falling on his sword, cause he stood on what he said!

AAAAAAAHHHHHHH, she cried!

Walked into his room, can't believe he unalive!

Fighting all his life, he survived! He survived!

He had one too many tests! Why my brodie ain't survive!?

You are truth! You are truth! I got questions!

Why you pick and choose? Why a few get redemption?

Tell me, why is loss how we learn all these lessons?

Staring at my cross, I see death, I feel reverence

When you walking with the Lord, everywhere is holy ground!

Seen my brodie in a morgue, day before was joking round!

You still blessing those who mourn! That's your on the mount!

Everything I ever lost, only now is heaven bound!

Only now is heaven bound!

Bitter be the taste! Still singing praise! Like hallelu—!

I'm finding grace! In darker days! I'm finding you!

Slow be the pace! You give and take! You see me through!

I be amazed! You give and take! The prize is you!

Why my brodie ain't survive!?

biography of the artist Rob Nor:

Who Rob Nor Is

Rob Nor is a hip‑hop artist from Cleveland, Ohio, born July 31, 2000. He blends personal life experiences, faith, social‑concerns and honest storytelling in his music. Before committing to music full‑time, he had early exposure to church and the local community, which has shaped both his worldview and his artistry.

Background & Life‑Journey

Rob grew up without a consistent father‑figure, raised by his mother along with his sister. That upbringing gave him a longing for identity and belonging. He discovered rap around age 12 — a friend introduced him to it — and writing lyrics became his outlet. In high school he ran into difficulties, but the support from church leaders and youth‑pastors played an important role in offering direction. After high school he studied recording arts at community college, hoping to build a music career and support his younger sister.

In his late teens/early twenties, a period of personal struggle followed: he became a father while still very young, underwent the challenges of early parenthood during difficult times, and experienced a period when his faith was disconnected from his life. Over time, he returned to faith and used his experiences — hardship, hope, loss and redemption — to inform his music with depth, honesty and vulnerability.

Music Career & Mission

Rob Nor uses his music as a platform to merge faith, creative arts, and social justice. As much as he raps and sings, he also engages in ministry: as of 2023, he accepted a role as a Juvenile Justice Minister with a youth‑serving organization, working to help marginalized and at-risk youth. Through that role, he’s developing programs that use music and creative arts to give young people positive outlets — helping them tell their stories and find purpose.

In his own music, Rob Nor reflects on identity, hardship, faith, and community realities. His lyrical style uses metaphor, narrative, and vivid imagery to invite listeners into personal stories, while also challenging social issues and calling for hope and restoration.

Artistic Style & What Makes Him Stand Out

Rob’s music sits at the intersection of contemporary hip‑hop, faith-based insight, and community consciousness.

He’s unafraid to expose vulnerability, struggles, doubts, and redemption — giving his work emotional and spiritual weight.

His commitment to mentoring youth and using music as a tool for social change makes him different from many “just‑music” artists: he sees artistry as ministry and outreach.

Because of his mix of raw authenticity and hope-driven messages, his music resonates with listeners who appreciate both honesty and faith.
