Limoblaze (real name Samuel Onwubiko) was born on 25 October 1995 in Abia State, Nigeria. He grew up in Makurdi, Benue State, as one of eight children. From an early age, he was influenced by secular hip-hop artists like Tupac and Eminem, and later Christian rap artists like Lecrae and Da’ T.R.U.T.H., which helped shape his musical direction.
While studying Biochemistry at the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, he began his music career through his church, Day Star Church. He later moved to the United Kingdom and has become a UK-based international artist.
