David Nkennor – Biography & Profile
Who He Is
David Nkennor is a Nigerian worship leader, psalmist, songwriter, and minister.
He’s known particularly for leading worship, writing songs, and creating atmospheres of genuine worship in churches and concerts.
Background & Education
He started his music ministry as a teenager in 1999, in a 6-man a cappella group called Baby’s Heart.
Baby’s Heart ministered on several university campuses, in concerts, and churches, helping him build early experience.
He studied Mathematics at the University of Lagos.
He is married (his wife is named Ugochi), and they have two children.
Ministry & Music
He is the founder of Worship Is W.I.D.E. — an acronym for Worship Is What I Do Everytime. This is a ministry focused on creating worship tools, hosting live recordings, concerts, trainings/seminars, and producing worship content.
He released live worship albums titled WORSHIP IS W.I.D.E 1 (2008) and WORSHIP IS W.I.D.E 2 (2014).
