Nigerian gospel singer, pastor, worship leader, trumpet player, and songwriter
Born August 27, 1981 in Lagos, Nigeria
From Ikot Ofon Ikono, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State
Education & Early Musical Life
Studied International Relations & Politics at the University of Lagos, and in London
Attended Middlesex University Summer School for music studies
Early exposure to church music; also did jazz and instrumental work
Joined Steve Rhodes Orchestra, led Spectrum 4 jazz quartet, played trumpet
Music & Ministry Career
Made debut in gospel music with the album Elohim in 2008 (recorded in Cape Town)
Known for songs widely used in worship: Imela, Onise Iyanu, Olowogbogboro
Styles include gospel, worship, hymns, medleys, with the trumpet as a signature instrument in many songs
Pastoral Role & Ministries
Pastor of The Oasis Lagos, the youth church of RCCG Kings Court, Victoria Island, Lagos
Leads worship and participates in many church events, seminars, and conferences
Hallelujah Challenge
Launched the #HallelujahChallenge in June 2017
It is an online worship & prayer event (from midnight to 1:00 am) streamed, where believers across the world join to worship and pray together
