Steve Crown, born Steve Crown Okolo on September 27, 1990, in Abuja, Nigeria, is a Nigerian gospel artist, worship leader, and music producer. He hails from Benue State and is of the Igede ethnic group.

Early Life & Musical Journey

Steve Crown's musical journey began at the age of four when he started singing. By seven, he joined the Saint John's Anglican Church Choir in Abuja and was also a member of the Deacon Kids Band, a children's happiness club. His early exposure to music laid the foundation for his future in gospel music ministry.

Rise to Prominence

Crown gained widespread recognition with his breakout single, "You Are Great", released in 2015. The song resonated deeply with audiences, establishing him as a significant figure in the Nigerian gospel music scene. He followed this success with other notable tracks such as "You Are Yahweh", "We Wait On You", "All the Glory", and "Angels Bow", the latter featuring gospel artist Phil Thompson.

Ministry & Leadership

Beyond his music career, Steve Crown is the founder of Lakelight Entertainment, a record label dedicated to discovering and promoting gospel music talent. He also founded the annual worship event, Nations Will Rise and Sing, which has become a significant gathering for worshippers worldwide.
