Profile

We The Kingdom is a contemporary Christian / worship band from Nashville, Tennessee.

Formed in 2018.

The group is made up of family members (the Cash family) — Ed Cash, Scott Cash, Martin Cash — plus Andrew Bergthold. Franni Rae Cash was also a key member until recently.

Origin & How They Started

The band “accidentally” came together at a Young Life camp, where several of the members were invited to lead worship. After song-writing and worship during a difficult season, they felt a shared calling to make music together.

Their first song to catch wider attention was “Dancing on the Waves”.

Breakthrough & Music

Their song “Holy Water” became their breakout hit.

Debut EP Live at the Wheelhouse was released in 2019.

First studio album Holy Water came out in 2020 with tracks like God So Loved, Child of Love, Don’t Tread on Me.

Their second studio album, We The Kingdom (self-titled), released in 2022, includes songs Miracle Power, Jesus Does, among others.

Style & Themes

They blend elements of pop, country, folk, Americana, and worship.

Their lyrics often speak to vulnerability, redemption, relationship with God, community, healing from brokenness.

Because they are multigenerational, their music is influenced by multiple decades of musical styles.
