Steve Crown, whose full name is Steve Crown Okolo, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader. He is originally from Benue State but grew up in Abuja. He is widely known for his deep worship anthems that have become staples in churches across Nigeria and beyond.

Early Life & Musical Beginnings

Steve Crown began singing at the age of 4. By 8, he was already part of his church choir at Saint John’s Anglican Church, and also performed with the children’s group “Deacon Kids Band.” His parents, both musically inclined, encouraged his gift—his mother served as a choir mistress, which further nurtured his passion for worship.
