Neema Gospel Choir is a gospel music choir based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. They minister under the Africa Inland Church Tanzania (AICT), particularly at Chang’ombe in Temeke.
The choir was started in 1992 by six members with a single keyboard. Since then, they have grown significantly, now comprising dozens of members and using professional musical instruments.
Mission & Vision
Their driving mandate is preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music and worship. They lean on Mark 16:15 (“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation”) as part of their guiding scripture.
They seek not only to produce excellent music, but also to help with spiritual growth among their members and in communities, strengthen discipline, creativity, and build meaningful relationships with people.
