Who He Is

Elie Malekani is a Congolese gospel artist, singer, songwriter, and worship leader from Goma in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. He ministers in multiple languages, including Swahili and French, which makes his music accessible across Central and East Africa.

Background & Early Life

Born and raised in Goma, Elie grew up in a Christian home.

He joined Sunday school at the age of 4 and was baptized at 15.

His musical journey began in local choirs, including the “Jeunes Adorateurs” in Lubumbashi, before moving through different regions like Katanga and Kivu, which broadened his exposure and shaped his style.
