Full Name: Oluwadunsin Joshua Oyekan
Nickname / Alias: The Eagle
Date of Birth: November 5, 1984
Place of Birth / Origin: Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria
Early Life & Background
Dunsin Oyekan is the son of Gbadebo Oyekan, who was a pastor and leader of a worship group known as Spiritual Singers.
He began playing musical instruments (guitar, among others) at about age 10, influenced by his father’s love for music and worship.
He studied Industrial Chemistry at the University of Ilorin.
Personal Life
Married Adedoyin Oyekan on February 2, 2013. They had two children.
His wife Adedoyin passed away on May 18, 2019.
Despite loss and personal challenges, he has continued steadily in his ministry.
Music & Ministry
Dunsin Oyekan is a worship leader, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist.
He is known for leading worship nights, revival gatherings and for organizing platforms such as Code Red Worship Experience, The Outpouring, Upper Room (a weekly worship gathering), and other events that create environments for deep spiritual worship.
He aims to fill atmospheres with God’s presence, stir revival, and write songs born out of encounters with God.
Discography & Output
His debut album Code Red came out in 2016.
Subsequent albums include Kingdom Now, The Gospel of The Kingdom, The Glory Experience – Songs of Zion, The Birth of Revival, The Great Commission, and Generation Intimacy.
Some of his popular songs are Imole De, Open Up, Keiyadosh, Fragrance to Fire, If All I Say Is Jesus.
