Josh Baldwin – Biography

Early Life and Background

Joshua Aaron Baldwin was born July 8, 1979, in Albemarle, North Carolina, U.S. He grew up in a Christian home; his father was a pastor and also led worship. From his teenage years, Josh was involved in church music, playing instruments and leading worship.

Music Career

Josh Baldwin began his music ministry around 2008, releasing his first independent album Changing. He served as worship pastor in North Carolina for several years.

In 2014, he joined the Bethel Music collective, which led to broader exposure. His first solo album under Bethel Music was The War Is Over (2017). He has since released several albums and singles that have become well-known in Christian worship spaces.
