Early Life and Background

Frank Ugochukwu Edwards, professionally known as Frank Edwards, is a Nigerian contemporary gospel singer, songwriter, producer, and founder of Rocktown Records. He was born on July 22, 1989, in Enugu State, Nigeria.

He grew up in a Christian family and developed his musical gift early. As a teenager, he learned to play the piano and began producing music while also singing in church choirs.

Music Career

Frank Edwards officially began his music career in the mid-2000s and quickly rose to fame with his debut album The Definition (2008). His unique sound combines contemporary gospel, Afro-pop, and worship, making him one of the most celebrated gospel artists in Africa.

He gained further recognition after joining Christ Embassy, under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s ministry, where he became one of the leading worship ministers.
