MOGmusic – Biography

Early Life and Background

Pastor Nana Yaw Boakye, popularly known as MOGmusic, is a Ghanaian gospel singer, songwriter, and pastor. He was born on May 14, 1984, in Accra, Ghana. Raised in a Christian home, he discovered his love for music early, serving in church choirs and developing into a skilled worship leader.

Music Career

MOGmusic officially began his gospel music career in the early 2010s and quickly established himself as one of Ghana’s most anointed worship leaders. His breakout came with the release of Be Lifted, a song that became a worship anthem across Africa and beyond.

He has since released several albums and songs, performing on major gospel platforms such as Experience with Jesus, VGMA stages, and international worship gatherings.

Style and Ministry

MOGmusic is known for his spirit-filled contemporary worship style, with a unique blend of English and Ghanaian languages. He is also the founder and lead pastor of Royalhouse Chapel International Youth Choir, mentoring young ministers in worship and gospel music.
