Full Name: Timothy Chukwudi Godfrey

Date of Birth: 26 August 1980

Nationality: Nigerian

Early Life & Background

Tim Godfrey was born in Kaduna, Nigeria, as one of six siblings.

He hails from Abia State.

He grew up singing in church choirs from a young age and developed skills in music direction, voice training, and instrumentation.

He had very humble beginnings; his early life included working as a houseboy and facing economic hardship.

Career & Major Works

He officially began his music career in 2004.

He founded the group Xtreme Crew, which has played a central role in his ministry.

He also founded the record label Rox Nation.

One of his biggest hits is Nara, a collaboration with Travis Greene.

Other notable songs include Agidigba, Na You Be God, Toya, Onaga (It’s Working), So Good, Amen, etc.

He hosts an annual gospel concert called Fearless, which features both Nigerian and international gospel artists.

He has received numerous awards and nominations for his contributions to gospel music in Nigeria and internationally.
