WATOTO CHILDREN’S CHOIR – BETTER DAYS LYRICS

WATOTO CHILDREN’S CHOIR – BETTER DAYS LYRICS

Verse 1]

Waking up
Its a brand new day
All the news feels
Like Monday morning
Slow it down
Take a breath rewind
Got A feeling if
I spread my wings
I’ll fly.

[Chorus]
There’s A Hope
Down in my heart
Telling me God’s not yet Done
There’s A Peace
I can’t explain
Better Days are yet to come.

Verse 2]
There’ll be days
When I lose my way
Let Your word
Be my guiding Light
There’s no limit
To your Boundless Grace
Got me dancing to the rhythm
Of  Your Love.

[Chorus]
There’s A Hope
Down in my heart
Telling me God’s not yet Done
There’s A Peace
I can’t explain
Better Days are yet to come.

There’s A Hope
Down in my heart
Telling me God’s not yet Done
There’s A Peace
I can’t explain
Better Days are yet to come.

[Bridge]
Should this life
Not be Alone
And the night seems not to end
Let this truth Reign
With my heart
That better days
are yet to come
That better days
are yet to come.

Ah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
(yeah yeah)
Ah yeah  yeah yeah yeah yeah
(alle,alle,alle)
Ah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
(yeah yeah)
Ah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
(alle,alle,alle)
Ah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
(yeah yeah)

[Outro]
There’s A Hope
Down in my heart
Telling me
God’s not yet Done
There’s A Peace  I can’t explain
Better Days are yet to come.

End of WATOTO CHILDREN’S CHOIR – BETTER DAYS LYRICS

The Watoto Children’s Choir is a choir of children from Uganda under Watoto Church, based in Kampala.
“Watoto” means children in Swahili.
What They Do
The choir is composed of children who have lost one or both parents—many due to AIDS, war, poverty, or other hardship.
They tour internationally and raise awareness about vulnerable children, as well as funds to support their care.
Their performances mix African rhythms, gospel music, storytelling, dance, and testimonies from the children.
Their Background & Impact
The organization (Watoto) started in 1984 as a church in Kampala, Uganda.
They saw a growing orphan crisis and began rescuing orphaned and abandoned children.
The Watoto Children’s Choir officially formed in 1994.
Alongside the choir, Watoto runs homes (villages) for orphans, baby homes, schools, and supports women in vulnerable situations.
How It Works
Children are selected (often via auditions) from the care homes/villages.
Before tours, they receive months of training for singing, dance, testimony, etc.
They travel in groups with adult chaperones who care for their well-being, manage logistics, and support them emotionally.
Reach & Activities
Over 30 years they’ve sent out more than 100 choirs to tour around the world (Asia, Europe, Americas, etc.)
Their concerts often open with “Concerts of Hope,” encouraging healing, hope, and restoration.
The choir’s ministry is part of a larger child-care structure: villages, education, medical care, counseling.
