Lola Omobaba is a Nigerian gospel artist.

She grew up in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, and is now based in Maryland, USA.

She started her music journey at The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) in Abeokuta. Later (in 2001) she moved to Daystar Christian Centre (DCC), Lagos, where she joined the choir. At DCC she became an alto section leader around 2003.

Music / Career Highlights

Released her first album in 2003 while at DCC; that album was launched by Pastor Sam Adeyemi.

Some of her well-known songs include Lamb Upon The Throne, Turn Around Encounter, Flow, We Praise Your Name, Rejoice (featuring Tosin Bee), and Congratulations.

Lamb Upon The Throne is a worship ballad she says was inspired while driving; she recorded the idea immediately. Producer Amb. Wole Oni arranged the song.
