James Wilson was born on August 3, 1990, originally from Lucedale, Mississippi.

He later moved to Maryland, USA, where he became part of the worship staff at a local church.

He’s a singer, songwriter, and worship leader whose music blends contemporary Christian, worship, and gospel styles.

Music Career & Key Works

Released an EP Stuck in the Rain (2011).

Debut full album Songs for the Church came out in 2019.

One of his breakout songs from that album is “Wait on the Lord”.
