Early Life & Background
MOGmusic, whose real name is Nana Yaw Boakye, was born on May 14, 1984, in Ghana. He grew up in a Christian home, where he developed a passion for music and the things of God at a young age. His early involvement in church activities, especially in the choir, shaped his love for worship and gospel ministry.
He later trained formally in music, developing his vocal strength, instrumental skills, and songwriting abilities.
Career & Music Journey
MOGmusic began his professional gospel music journey in the 2010s. He is not only a gospel artist but also a pastor at Royalhouse Chapel International in Accra, Ghana, where he serves under Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah.
He gained international recognition with his album “New Wine” (2016), which introduced his spirit-filled style of worship. In 2018, he released “Better Me”, which solidified his place as one of the leading gospel artists in Ghana.
His song “Be Lifted” (2018) became a global anthem, sung across churches and Christian gatherings worldwide.
